Hi, I am Rachel DeHaven and I am so glad you are here!

I’m a mama to a sweet toddler, harpist, and now coach following a dream that was laid on my heart. I’m truly excited to share my journey with you. While everyone’s path looks a little different, I believe we can all learn from one another. If you’re recently engaged or newly married, chances are you're juggling a lot — planning a wedding, finding a place to live, and trying to figure out how to merge two lives (and two budgets) into one.

I’ve been there. In the early days of my marriage, we were excited — but also overwhelmed. Like many couples, we didn’t quite know how to budget together, communicate about money, or make decisions as a team. At times, it felt more like we were roommates than partners.

There were some tough seasons — including debt, major health issues, and other financial problems. I thought we were doing okay… until we weren’t. It was the lowest of lows times. But through all of it, we learned. We grew. And most importantly, we came out stronger — together.

It took time, patience, and a lot of communication, but we eventually became a true team. That transformation changed everything for us. And it's what inspired me to create Alpine Ascent Solutions — drawing on my own experiences to help other couples build a strong foundation for their future, right from the start.

 At Alpine Ascent Solutions, I help engaged and newly married couples navigate the often-challenging terrain of combining lives and finances — with clarity, confidence, and teamwork. Inspired by my own journey through financial stress, miscommunication, and rebuilding from the ground up, I created this space to offer practical guidance and heartfelt support. Just like hiking through the mountains, marriage and money come with peaks and valleys — but with the right tools and mindset, you can face them together and grow stronger with every step. Whether you're setting out on your journey or finding your footing again, I’m here to walk alongside you as your coach and cheerleader. 

No matter if you are preparing for marriage or already in it and feeling a little lost, I want you to know that you are not alone — and that change is possible. I’m here to share what I’ve learned and walk alongside you as you build a relationship that thrives.
